Who We Are

Chappelle Community League is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant, inclusive, and connected community in Southwest Edmonton. We represent the residents of Chappelle and surrounding neighbourhoods, working together to create opportunities for engagement, recreation, and belonging.

Our league is powered by passionate volunteers who strive to enhance the quality of life for all residents through programs, events, partnerships, and advocacy. Whether you’re new to the community or a long-time resident, we are here to help you connect, participate, and feel at home.

Location of Chappelle

Chappelle is located in Southwest Edmonton, within the Heritage Valley area. It is bordered by major roadways that provide easy connectivity to the rest of the city, including Anthony Henday Drive and off 41Ave

Its strategic location offers the perfect balance between suburban comfort and urban convenience, with quick access to Edmonton’s key destinations, business hubs, and recreational areas.

What Does the League Do?

The Chappelle Community League plays an important role in enhancing community life by:

History of Chappelle

Chappelle is one of Southwest Edmonton’s newer and fastest-growing neighbourhoods, developed as part of the Heritage Valley area.

Named after Father Vital-Justin Grandin Chappelle, the community reflects a blend of modern living and thoughtful urban planning.

Development in Chappelle began in the early 2010s, with a focus on creating a family-friendly environment featuring parks, schools, and convenient amenities. Over the years, it has grown into a thriving residential community known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong community spirit.

The Chappelle Community League was established to support this growth, bringing residents together and helping shape the future of the neighbourhood.
