BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Board of Directors is a dedicated team of community volunteers who work together to guide the Chappelle Community League and serve the needs of our neighbourhoods. From planning programs and events to managing operations, finances, partnerships, and community initiatives, the Board helps create a connected, active, and welcoming community for everyone.
Rebecca Giesbrecht
President
-
I’m Rebecca Giesbrecht, and I’m proud to call Chappelle home. My family and I have lived in the community for over 11 years, and I’ve had the opportunity to watch Chappelle grow into the vibrant and welcoming neighbourhood it is today.
As President of the Chappelle Community League, my vision is to build an even stronger sense of community, one where neighbours feel connected, residents have a voice, and there are more opportunities for families, seniors, youth, and individuals to come together, participate, and feel a true sense of belonging.
I believe a community league is more than events and programs. It’s about creating connections, supporting local initiatives, welcoming new neighbours, and working together to make our community an even better place to live.
Outside of my work with the Community League, I’m a dedicated real estate advisor who loves helping families navigate important transitions and find a place they’re proud to call home. I bring that same passion for people, connection, and community into my role as President.
I’m excited about what we can accomplish together and look forward to building a stronger, more connected, and engaged Chappelle—one idea, one connection, and one neighbour at a time.
Rupi Othi
Vice- President
-
Hi, I’m Rupi Othi, the new Vice President of the Chappelle Community League! As a mom and a proud Chappelle resident for the past four years, I’m passionate about building connections and creating a vibrant, welcoming community for everyone. As a financial planner and life coach, I love helping people grow and thrive, and I look forward to bringing that same passion to serving our community and making great things happen together!
Kimberley Mansbridge
Secretary
-
Hi, I’m Kim! I’ve called Chappelle home since 2021 and have had the pleasure of serving in various roles with the Chappelle Community League over the past four years. I’ve loved getting to know our neighbours and working alongside volunteers who care about making our community a great place to live.
Outside of the League, I’m a mom, a nurse, and a Regional Director in home care. My work centres on supporting people, building strong teams, and bringing people together toward shared goals. I bring that same commitment to collaboration, communication, and caring for others into my volunteer work.
As both a resident and a parent, I want Chappelle to be a place where families can grow, neighbours support one another, and people of all ages and backgrounds feel welcome. I believe a strong community grows when we make time to connect, listen to each other, and contribute in whatever ways we can.
Now serving as Secretary, I’m excited to continue supporting our board and helping turn community ideas into action. I’m proud to be part of Chappelle and look forward to building an even stronger, more connected community together.
Lori Tilles
Treasurer
-
Hi, I’m Lori Tilles! My family and I have called Chappelle home for the past three years, and I’m excited to get more involved in the community. As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) working in private industry, I’m looking forward to putting my accounting and finance experience to good use as Treasurer of the Chappelle Community League, helping to ensure the league’s resources are managed responsibly and supporting the programs and events that bring our neighbourhood together.
I hope to connect with more of our neighbours and help make Chappelle an even better place to live and raise a family!
Vincent Okeke
Civics Director
-
I am married with four children and a professional Engineer currently working in the oil and gas industry with SLB, a multinational oilfield services company.
I choose the role of Civic Director because I want to serve our community, listen to residents, understand the issues and concerns affecting them, and help ensure that their voices are heard.
The Civic Director plays an important role in connecting residents, the Community League, elected municipal representatives, HOAs, Civic Organizations, and neighbouring communities. I would like to contribute by building strong relationships with these groups and helping ensure that matters affecting Chappelle are properly communicated, followed up on, and brought to the appropriate representatives when necessary.
I believe I can bring commitment, collaboration, effective communication, accountability, and a genuine desire to make a positive contribution to our Community League. My professional experience has also taught me the importance of listening, working with different stakeholders, communicating clearly, and following issues through to completion.
As part of my vision, I would like to help improve communication with residents regarding municipal developments, community projects, public meetings, consultations, infrastructure, transportation, safety, and other matters that may affect our community.
Most importantly, I would listen to residents concerns, and work collaboratively with the Community League and relevant stakeholders to help address issues that matter to the people of Chappelle.
I chose the role because I believe in community service and would like to use my time, experience, and skills to contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and development of our community.
Monika Warchol
Events Coordinator
-
As a Chappelle resident, I joined the Community League Board in 2024 as a Director-at-Large because I wanted to give back to the community that I’m proud to call home. This year, I'm excited to step into the Event Coordinator role, where I get to help plan events that bring neighbours together and create opportunities for families to connect. I’m looking forward to helping build lasting memories and a strong community spirit in Chappelle.
Tunji Singerr
Membership Director
-
I’m Tunji Singerr, a Development Banker stepping forward to take on a bold new challenge for our neighborhood.
Hitherto, I'd been more inclined to support community initiatives behind the scenes, but now I'm doing it differently. I’m stepping to the front line to drive real, active progress. My goal is clear: bring my drive, energy, and personal passions toward building a strong, dynamic, and vibrant Chappelle Community League.
Chappelle’s potential is undeniable. I’m here to help turn that potential into a lasting legacy.

Osaretin Giegbefumwen
Programs Director
-
My name is Osas Giegbefumwen, and I am passionate about community development, inclusion, and creating opportunities for people to connect, learn, and thrive. With a background in public health, program management, community support, and stakeholder engagement, I bring experience in coordinating programs, building relationships, addressing community needs, and working collaboratively toward shared goals.
I believe a strong community is built when residents feel welcomed, valued, and involved. As Program Director for Chappelle Community League, my goal is to help create meaningful programs and activities that bring neighbours together, support families, engage youth, promote inclusion, and strengthen our sense of belonging. I look forward to working with residents, volunteers, local organizations, and community partners to develop programs that reflect the needs and interests of our diverse community.
My vision is to help make Chappelle a community where everyone feels they belong, every generation has opportunities to participate, and neighbours have meaningful ways to connect.
Family-focused programming: Create engaging activities and events for children, parents, and families.
Youth engagement: Encourage young people to participate, develop leadership skills, and contribute their ideas.
Inclusion and belonging: Promote accessible, welcoming activities that bring together residents from diverse backgrounds.
Community connection: Support neighbourhood events, recreation, social gatherings, and opportunities for neighbours to build lasting relationships.
Resident-driven programs: Listen to community feedback, collaborate with volunteers and local partners, and develop programs that respond to residents’ actual needs.
My commitment is to work collaboratively, use resources responsibly, and help build a vibrant community where participation is encouraged, relationships are strengthened, and everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
Obi
Volunteer Coordinator
-
I’m Obi Ruth (she/her), prefer to be called Obi.
I’m a counsellor, mom, and passionate volunteer. I chose to become the Volunteer Coordinator with Chappelle Community League because I believe strong communities are built through connection, inclusion, and people coming together.
My vision is to create a welcoming volunteer community where everyone; children, youth, families, seniors, and newcomers has an opportunity to contribute, connect, and feel valued.
I hope to build a stronger sense of belonging in Chappelle, celebrate our volunteers, and create opportunities for neighbours to not just live in the same community, but truly connect with a sense of belonging.
