A Message from the President
Dear Chappelle and Neighbour Communities,
As we move into a new season for the Chappelle Community League, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported, participated in, and contributed to our community over the past year.
Our Community League Day was a wonderful opportunity to come together, meet our neighbours, welcome new members, and celebrate what makes our community special. From our volunteers and sponsors to the families who joined us, your participation helped make the day a success.
We also recently held our Annual General Meeting, where we reflected on what we have accomplished and looked ahead to what we want to build together. With new board members, volunteers, and community voices joining us, we are excited about the opportunities ahead.
One of our biggest priorities continues to be growing our membership. Membership is more than just access to discounts and community programs—it helps provide the foundation for the league to continue creating events, programs, partnerships, and opportunities for our neighbourhood. Every membership makes a difference.
We are also growing our volunteer community. Whether you can give a few hours occasionally, take on a regular role, or contribute ideas behind the scenes, there is a place for you at the Chappelle Community League. Our community becomes stronger when more residents have the opportunity to get involved.
As we plan the next 12 months, our goal is to create meaningful opportunities throughout the year—through in-person events, digital initiatives, community programs, partnerships, and activities for residents of all ages. We want to hear your ideas and work together to turn them into reality.
Thank you to our members, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and every resident who continues to support the work we are doing.
This is your community league, and together, we can make Chappelle an even more connected, active, and welcoming place to call home.
With appreciation,
Rebecca Giesbrecht
