Edmonton Fire Rescue Services Drone Program Soaring, Enhancing Citywide Emergency Response Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) officially unveiled its drone program this summer, showcasing advanced aerial technology that strengthens public safety, protects frontline crews and enhances emergency response across the city. To give Edmontonians a closer look at how the technology operates, EFRS is rolling out a five-part educational video series to highlight how drones support crews during various emergency situations. Episode one released on August 27 and the remaining four episodes will become available on Thursdays throughout September.
